Kolbe Windows & Doors celebrates 80 years with 80 acts of kindness

Kolbe Windows & Doors marked its 80th anniversary by giving back to the communities its team members call home through 80 Acts of Kindness, a yearlong initiative centered on service, generosity and community involvement.

Throughout 2026, Kolbe organized companywide service projects, while encouraging team members to find their own ways to spread kindness. Activities included food, clothing and school-supply drives; blood drives; cards and messages of encouragement for veterans, seniors and children; support for local schools; donations to animal welfare organizations; community volunteer projects; and individual acts of kindness.

Kolbe surpassed its goal of 80 acts ahead of schedule, but the giving will continue through the remainder of the anniversary year. Activities planned for November and December include a Toys for Tots collection, holiday cards for local nursing home residents, Salvation Army bell ringing and a blood drive.

“Our 80th anniversary gave us an opportunity to celebrate Kolbe’s history while giving back to the communities that have supported us throughout the years,” said Jeff Delonay, president of Kolbe Windows & Doors. “What started as a goal of 80 acts became something much bigger. Our team members embraced the spirit behind the initiative and found their own ways to make a difference in the communities where we live and work.”
