Founded in 1998 and incorporated in 2009, Heather West Public Relations is a small and agile communications firm. While public relations is our focal point, we provide comprehensive communications services. From marketing consulting to copyediting and from communications and social networking audits to traditional media relations, we pride ourselves on working with clients that are leaders in their industries. Even when they may be overshadowed by larger companies, we help our clients compete and gain recognition.
Heather West Public Relations operates from our home-based office in Minneapolis. We manage our costs to provide our clients with specialized and responsive alternatives to larger agencies. We also are committed to environmental stewardship and green practices. We do our part to reduce waste and recycle. For more than 10 years, our travel has been carbon neutral. Whether on the road or in the office, we continue to make improvements to our operations and processes. Our clients share our commitment. Several are leaders in green products and operations, and all realize the value of efficient practices.
Heather West Public Relations is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the National Glass Association (NGA) and the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). We attend the annual AIA Convention and Expo, the Greenbuild International Conference and Expo, and GlassBuild America, as well as at the American Architectural Manufacturers Association’s conferences and other meetings. As an active member of the AIA, Heather volunteers locally with AIA Minnesota and AIA Minneapolis, and also serves on Architecture Minnesota's board and Videotect competition.
Beyond our involvement with industry associations and conferences, we also are proud supporters of artistic, cultural and community organizations. We donate time, services and financial contributions to several other theaters, youth programs, environmental initiatives and low-income housing services. We hold memberships with several museums and are charter members of the Hamilton Wood Type & Printing Museum.
Heather West Public Relations is a sponsor of Four Humors Theater, where Mark serves as a board member. We also are involved with the Sustainability in Theaters Group, and the Minnesota Do-Gooders Club, a professional peer group helping raise the profile of all communications work done for Minnesota’s nonprofit sector.
We believe in giving back to the community that has enriched our lives.
